I bought this blouse while op-shopping at a Salvos Store. I eyed it sitting on a $1 rack, and immediately fell in love with the cute embroidery on the front. There was no size on the tag, however luckily it was my size.
I decided to take the sleeves off the blouse and hem the armholes, so I could wear it as a summer shirt, and I brought it in at the side seams, just to make it a little more fitted and flattering.
I am very pleased with the results, and can certainly see myself wearing the blouse with many different outfits.
The skirt pictured below is also one of my creations that I made a few years ago. I did not use a pattern, only my measurements. The floral fabric was from some old curtain material that I dug out of my Grandmother’s stash of materials. It reminds me of a scene from the Sound of Music!
